new posting?

Girls dear,

Let's try and see different options. I guess we should explore the possibilities this site offers us fully. Can we share that, too?

Hi!

Yes, I agree with you I think it would be interesting to explore fully this site and share our ideas. I think we could then start thinking of applying everything we learn from this to our own teaching reality so that we can start experiencing this together with our students. I think Silvia has already started to do send material to her students. I don´t know whether she has done anything as regards blogging but perhaps we could start thinking of a practical way in which to use blogs. Personally I think I´d like to use it to improve the writing skills in my students.

Hi, my dear Four!

Here goes the list of sites I gave you this morn, but I've removed some so that you don't feel overwhelmed...;-))))...
Let's keep posting to our blog. Anything worth making a comment on? Any new idea on the use of a blog for our classes?
A big hug,
Rita

Hi, dear Four!
I've received an email from a member of my group, offering free participation in an interesting project. And I thought maybe you would be interested, at least, in reading about it...., at most, in having a go...;-))
Here's the copy of the description I got. It would be a good starting point for further experience and knowledge.
Cheers!!

"I've been quite busy since we're finishing our summer courses next
week and getting ready for next semester challenge. Nevertheless, I
want to tell you about our little project for next semester, we are
going to start a study circle by taking a course called the learning
classroom. You can have a look at it here.
http://www.learner.org/channel/courses/learningclassroom/. This is
free and all you have to do is register a group of teachers and
follow their gudelines. They provide some videos, a practice guide
and a forum to discuss what you're learning and a certificate. Our
plan is to invite some of you to help us in the disscussions with
your expert advise. Eventhough this course is for K12 teachers, we
think it'll be helpul to us since its focus is on teaching and
learning. We're going to adapt what we get from this course to
teaching and learning a foreign language. We'll take this
opportunity to experience learning on a blended learning environment."

Thanks for sharing this good article on motivation, Mari! Might reading it help some teachers become more aware of and responsible for the need to motivate students and to help those unmotivated, do you think?
(you know my view...., or at least, can guess it...;-))

Girls! I also got that invitation, and already sent Paul an email asking for further details. If you are interested, let me know, I have them.
Some of my students are willing to participate in this project, and I've sent Paul their personal info so that he can count on them. The project is very interesting, he'll carry it out during November, hopefully, if he can manage to collect the 80 names he needs.
Hope you´ve had a nice weekend, have a good week!

Dearest girls,
I wanted to tell you that I'm starting my project with my Kids. Let's see what happens. I'll give you more details in the near future.
...I'm not trying to create suspense, the fact is that it's too late and I still have lots of things to do.
Love,
Marina
